Tasting Notes
This batch of tea has the "original flavor" of Oolong that is reminiscent of generations past. It is a substantial, but mild character that is slightly sweet on the palate and has a distinctly aromatic, lingering aftertaste. The leaves were sufficiently oxidized, and roasted twice, but very gently. They were then left to "set" for a few months without being vacuum sealed. This allowed for a minimal, yet detectable amount of post-production oxidation that gives it a traditional Oolong character.
